The Observation Deck at the Amazon Refuge Lodge is one of our most popular features. 

 

This platform is centrally located and high and dry, even in the peak high water seasons.

 

For star gazing this spot has the ultimate view through the clearing at the Chingana River and the Yanayacu.

 

The Deck has a 360 degree vantage point for photographers, an Birders. Over 800 different species can be seen and heard from area.

 

The uncovered deck provides a fishing pier as well, when high water come in, it's just a few feet above the water line.
